VIC: Police crack two major car theft rings

MELBOURNE, Jan 14 AAP - Victoria Police say they have cracked two major car theft rings
responsible for stealing millions of dollars worth of prestige cars and motorcycles.

Five men were arrested in morning raids yesterday on eight properties in the northern and
western suburbs, the Herald Sun reported today.

Two men were to be charged on summons and three others were still being interviewed by
detectives late last night.

The two rings which worked separately but had links, took orders for late-model prestige
